CAUTION: This area is RED HOT

This winter, like most others, red lips are hot. RED HOT. Lots of women are on a perpetual hunt for the perfect shade of lipstick and while I agree, you need something that goes well with your skin, eyes, hair etcetera. What you need most of all is confidence! Let’s look at some of the famous faces that constantly choose the VA VOOM that red lips have to offer. 

Gwen Stefani: This hot ROCKER CHICK made her career based on her red lips. Its how everyone remembered her in a time when being bold and different wasn’t the norm. So, aside from the hot red lips you should thank her for changing the norm and mixing things up a bit. While you’re at it, thank her for making houndstooth famous again.  

Dita Von Tesse: One word: VIXEN! She brings the vintage sex appeal by having a red lip and she is super confident with her style. If you haven’t noticed, she is the exact opposite of what the industry claims is beautiful: Pale, dark haired and different. Through being herself she has managed to become the world’s only living sex icon. If you ever needed a reason to be yourself that is a damn good one. 

Christina Aguilera: I would call this lady a GLAMAZON. She is 100% glamorous 100% of the time. Now unlike the other features in this post Christina didn’t always wear the red lip. It found her. She grew into it. She grew up. She, like us, had to work at it. Let me tell you, she has perfected the art. Now, like the other features, she is rarely spotted without it. Even if she hasn’t always had the red lip she has ALWAYS been confident. Confident enough to go toe to toe against Britney Spears and confident enough to wear ass-less chaps. You go girl.

If you don’t identify with these three maybe you will with: Lauren Conrad, Hayden Penettiere, Beyonce, Megan Fox, Scarlett Johansson, Kim Kardashian, Katherine Heigl, Jenifer Hudson, Emmy meester, Angelina Jolie, Kirsten Dunst or Rihanna? I could go on! See red lips don’t have to go with just one style, anyone can wear them. Most of these celebrities have little or nothing in common except the fact that they have worn red lips in the past. Like I said before all you need to pull them off is confidence. Whatever you choose to do with your look, you always need to wear it with confidence!
